CGI to strengthen its Business For Utilities Suite (BFUS) with Eliq’s energy monitoring solutions
Global information technology solutions company, CGI has a business unit that helps utilities manage market challenges. Business For Utilities Suite (BFUS) has a core focus to streamline operations within a business, to be well equipped to adapt to new opportunities and changing requirements in the market. This offers utilities an advanced system for customer care and billing solutions. Data collected allows management to identify trends and improve decision making with regards to new offering, product customisation and price models.
CGI will now strengthen this unit to include energy monitoring solutions to all its customers in Sweden, powered by Eliq. The utility app focuses on the end-user requirements, allowing them to fully understand their energy bill and optimise household energy consumption. It enhances the end-user engagement, and creates new opportunities to offer customers to connect to a wide range of prosumer services.
This add-on service package is now available to CGI’s utility customers to add to their existing BFUS licence. It gives their end-users the ability to monitor electricity usage based on historical data from BFUS. They can opt-in to receive consumption alerts and smart, energy-saving advice based on their consumption patterns. The application also offers a upgrades that include prosumer services with real-time solar production monitoring and heating control.
