Over the past two years, Eliq has been selected as the trusted partner by a number of innovative energy suppliers in Europe, such as Greenyellow (France), Eidsiva Energi (Norway) and Gudbrandsdal Energi (Norway), to increase customer engagement using energy monitoring software and data analytics.
To continue their commitment in the energy sector, Eliq has become a member of UK’s leading energy technology industry association, BEAMA. Its mission is to support members in ensuring that the UK has a strong energy management industry which is recognised as an essential part of modern society and bring invaluable economic, social and environmental benefits. Eliq is proud to announce its membership of the Connected Homes group.
The nation-wide rollout of smart meters in Great Britain by the end of 2020 will offer a platform for Connected Homes and provide customers with the opportunity to make informed choices about their energy usage. As Eliq’s advisor, Chris Wall (former Head of Metering at RWE Npower) said, smart metering will give the customer great visibility understanding and choice about their utility provision and should help restore trust in the sector.
BEAMA provides leadership, expertise and independent influence in the areas of product safety, performance, energy efficiency and sustainability. The connected homes market is an important sector for BEAMA and BEAMA members, including the mandated rollout of smart metering equipment and in-home displays across Great Britain.
